Abstract

Apparent molar volumes ($\phi$v) and viscosity B-coefficients for imidacloprid in Dimethylformamide (DMF) and Dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) was evaluated from density ($\rho$ ) and viscosity ($\eta$) at 298.15 to 313.15 K using a bicapillary pycnometer and Ubbelohde viscometer respectively. The density data were analyzed in terms of limiting apparent molar volume ($\phi$ o) and experimental slopes (Sv) obtained from Masson equation. The viscosity data were analyzed in term of A and B coefficient obtained from Jone-Dole equation. The evaluated parameters were interpreted in terms of different interactions exists therein.
